Yes, all non-stick coatings will slowly wear off given frequent use. Just like your favorite pair of shoes, the more you use them the faster they wear out. But with proper maintenance, Caraway cookware is designed to last years!
Our Ceramic non-stick is made from inorganic natural ingredients which are all 100% safe to use in contact with all foods (and FDA approved). Plus, the absence of potentially dangerous chemicals like PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, Lead, and Cadmium means that there is no chance of harmful materials leaching into your food, even if you accidentally scratch or overheat your pan.
Yes! Our ceramic cookware is induction compatible. However, not all induction stovetops are compatible with us! We suggest reaching out to your manufacturer to confirm.
Our Ceramic cookware can also handle up to 550°F without breaking a sweat. Each piece of cookware is designed purposefully to be used in and on all cooking surfaces and ovens.
Dishwashers are notorious for their harsh detergents and abrasive way of cleaning. Because of this, we suggest that all Caraway products never be put in your dishwasher since it drastically reduces the life of your non-stick properties and can potentially cause cosmetic damage. Instead, a gentle hand wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or dishcloth helps keep your cookware looking fresh!
Wooden (like our Prepware!) or nylon utensils are all great to use with your Caraway products! Rough, sharp edges of metal utensils can damage the non-stick coating, and we strongly recommend that you avoid these.
Low to medium heat is all you need! Our ceramic-coated pans heat up in under a minute and can retain its temperature more efficiently compared to traditional cookware. You’ll be able to crisp and fry all day long thanks to our non-stick layers.
Our ceramic cookware has a non-stick surface, so while butter or oil is required, only a small amount is needed. We recommend lightly coating the entire interior for the best cooking experience. Avoid using cooking sprays, as they can lead to residue buildup.

Our cookware features an aluminum core surrounded by 5-ply Stainless Steel, so there is no concern of leaching. Our Stainless Steel cookware is not made with non-stick properties. However, sticking can be minimized by properly pre-heating the pan and following some simple maintenance tips here !
Nope! Stainless Steel doesn’t need to be seasoned like traditional cast-iron or carbon steel. However, following proper heating instructions will go a long way in maximizing cooking performance.
You bet! Our pans have a magnetized stainless steel base plate that can be used with induction stovetops. Additionally, all pans are oven safe up to 550ºF and used under the broiler up to 465ºF.
We recommend handwashing as using a dishwasher can affect the longevity of your cookware.

Yes! Our Stainless Steel cookware can handle any temperature. For the best results, we recommend preheating on low to medium heat and using the water test before adding oil.
Additionally, be sure to check the smoke point of your cooking fat—choosing one with a higher smoke point will help prevent burning when cooking at high temperatures.
An appropriate amount of oil or butter is all you need to coat the pan! It should be preheated for a minute before adding in your food. Avoid oil sprays or cooking aerosols.
Exposure to prolonged periods of heat may cause discoloration over time, but this will not affect performance! Any Stainless Steel cookware cleaner will have your pans looking as good as new.
Our Enameled Cast Iron Cookware doesn't require seasoning and is ready to use straight out of the box. This means you can cook a wide variety of dishes, including acidic foods (unlike seasoned Cast Iron), without any concerns. It is easy to maintain—just wash it with soap and water.
While our Enameled Cast Iron Cookware isn’t non-stick, the enameled coating can help reduce sticking compared to traditional cast iron pans. For best results, we recommend properly preheating your cookware and using an appropriate amount of oil or butter to achieve a similar cooking experience.
Absolutely! Our Enameled Cast Iron Cookware is compatible with all stovetops and is oven-safe up to 500°F. Additionally, all pans can also be used under the broiler (up to 450ºF).
Enameled Cast Iron should not be washed in a dishwasher. We recommend hand washing with warm, soapy water to ensure your cookware’s longevity. Unlike other materials, our Enameled Cast Iron Cookware retains a steady internal temperature, so reducing the heat during cooking won't impact the cooking performance.

Properly preheating your Enameled Cast Iron is crucial for a stick-free experience. Also, choose a fat with the right smoke point for your recipe to ensure even cooking without burning. Patience is key; allow ingredients, especially proteins, to sear and naturally release from the surface before flipping or stirring.

All purchases of our Bakeware Sets come with our custom-designed storage solutions. The Half Bakeware and Mini Bakeware sets include one such system, and the Complete Bakeware Set includes two. The storage systems are only available with purchase of the sets and are not sold separately or included with individual Bakeware pieces.
Our lids were crafted with an Air Release Technology, specifically designed to keep freshness in and odors out.
To open, simply pull up from one of the lid’s side grooves to let air flow out and reduce suction, holding the base for extra support. Once the air is released, remove the lid by pulling back.
Only the Food Storage containers and Dot & Dash containers are dishwasher safe! Food Storage lids are not.

Yes! The Airtight Containers Set includes a storage tray that keeps your containers organized in a pantry or cabinet and is stylish enough for open shelving. The tray cradles the jars securely and provides a sturdy base for stacking, helping to keep your space neat and efficient.
Our airtight seal is activated by the lid’s switch. When the switch is open, air flows freely, making it easy to remove the lid, fill or empty the jar, and then reseal it. Pressing down the switch locks the lid in place, creating an airtight seal that helps protect food from exposure to air, moisture, and contaminants. While the seal keeps air from entering or escaping, it is not a vacuum seal—it won’t remove existing air from inside the jar. However, it still helps prevent spoilage, staleness, and degradation by limiting exposure to air and humidity. This design ensures a simple, effective storage solution for keeping pantry items fresh.
The jars are dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended to extend their lifespan. The lid and switch are not dishwasher safe, as heat can damage the switch magnet, cause warping, or compromise the seal. Do not put the lid, scoop, or measuring cup in the microwave, dishwasher, or oven. The stainless steel scoop and measuring cup can spark or catch fire in the microwave. The gaskets are removable for occasional cleaning, but they don’t need to be removed after every use.
Cleanability was a top priority in our design. Many storage lids have hard-to-clean crevices that trap water, dust, and food particles, leading to bacteria or mold buildup. We solved this by making our switch removable for easy cleaning. To remove the switch, simply push it open and slide it out. The built-in magnet holds it in place, but a gentle pull will detach it. Both the lid surface and underside of the switch were designed to minimize areas where food or bacteria can accumulate. Once the parts are clean and dry, slide the switch back onto the hooks—the magnets will snap it securely into place.
If the lid isn’t sealing properly, the switch may need to be reset. To remove it, push it open as you normally would and slide it out. The built-in magnet holds it in place, but with a little pull, it will detach. Clean the switch and lid surface to remove any dust or food particles, then slide the switch back onto the hooks—it will snap into place with the magnets. Press the switch down again to reactivate the airtight seal, ensuring your container stays properly sealed and your food stays fresh.
These high-quality knives have incredibly sharp blades for precision and ease of use. Use caution when taking them in and out of the knife block and follow the curvature of the internal bumper.
All storage pieces are modular and can easily be removed and put back together.
We recommend using a honing rod every 5 uses, and a knife sharpener 1-2 times per year. With that in mind, remember that a sharp and precise knife is always safer than a dull one.
Our premium stainless steel blades shouldn’t rust with proper care. However, if you do start to notice some rust, a stainless steel cleaner will take care of the job in no time.
Dishwashers are a notorious and abrasive way of cleaning, and they also tend to quickly dull knives and cause wooden utensils or boards to splinter. Because of this, we recommend hand washing your prepware to keep it in pristine condition for years to come.
To extend each board’s longevity, apply the included mineral oil with a clean cloth once a month. Let oil set for a few hours before wiping dry with a cloth. For an extra shine, apply food-grade beeswax once dry. Never use vegetable or nut-based oils on your board.
To disinfect stains, you can squeeze fresh lemon juice onto your boards with a sprinkle of kosher salt, using the lemon to rub the mixture across the entire area. Once dry, gently scrape off. Alternatively, use a solution of 25% distilled white vinegar and 75% water. Never use bleach or baking soda on your boards!
Our Kitchen Gadgets are evenly-weighted, with the heaviest one (Garlic Press) weighing less than a box of pasta. While heavier than some plastic alternatives, we’ve chosen the lightest quality materials that still provide enhanced performance.
The blades come factory-sharpened and will retain their edge for extended periods of time. We do not recommend sharpening at home, as this may damage the blades or risk injury.
The Garlic Press separates into 2 halves: the “hopper” and the “press head”. Ingredients are loaded into the hopper side. To detach, rotate the handles so they’re approximately 90 degrees apart and lift the press head up vertically.
Our Tea Kettle is made with a durable, ceramic-coated exterior, and an 18-8 grade Stainless Steel interior!
Yes! Our Tea Kettle is induction, gas and electric-safe.
We recommend boiling water in the Tea Kettle on low to medium heat! Lower heat will increase the longevity of your kettle.

We offer a limited warranty covering a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers the replacement of defective materials when our Tea Kettle is used under normal use. More information can be found here .
Our linens are made from 100% organic cotton. They are machine washable - make sure you wash before first use, and either tumble dry low or hand dry!
Yes, our Glass Lids are designed to fit all Caraway pots and pans. However, because our Enameled Cast Iron is hand-molded, some pieces may have slight variations that prevent a perfect seal. Additionally, the textured enameled coating could potentially scratch the Glass Lids, so we recommend handling them with care when placing or removing the lid.
